現在担当している役割は?

営業職で2025年4月に入社しました。業界について勉強しながら、先輩に同行もしつつ、日々学んでいます。担当も少しずつ任せてもらい、夏ごろから一人で営業に出る機会も増えてきています。

仕事の面白さ、やりがいは?

金属業界ならではの工場見学にも行かせていただき、部品が作られていく様子を見るのがとても面白いです。

辰己屋金属に入社された時のエピソードやきっかけは?

最初のきっかけは本当にたまたまでした。合同説明会でブースに立ち寄り話を聞き、後日見学や食事の機会を通じて職場の雰囲気に惹かれました。人間関係を重視したい私にとって、ここなら長く働けると感じ入社を決めました。

実際に働いてみて、働く前と後で印象が変わった点は?

就職前後で大きく変わった点はありませんが、本社の皆さんがとても優しく、最初の印象のまま温かい環境で働けています。

仕事の中で大切にしている価値観やモットーは?

営業という職を通じてお客様とのつながりを大切にしたいと考えています。まだ学びの身ですが、先輩方を見習いながら信頼関係を築くことを心がけています。

What is your current role?

I joined the company in April 2025 as a sales representative. I’m learning the ropes every day by studying the industry and shadowing my senior colleagues. I’ve gradually been entrusted with more responsibilities, and since around summer, I’ve had more opportunities to go out on sales calls on my own.

What makes this job interesting and rewarding?

I also had the opportunity to take a factory tour—something unique to the metal industry—and it was really fascinating to see how the parts are made.

What led you to join Tatsumiya Metal? Do you have any memorable stories from when you joined?

Honestly, it all started by chance. I stopped by the company’s booth at a joint job fair and listened to their presentation. Later, through company visits and opportunities to have meals together, I was drawn to the warm atmosphere of the workplace. Since I value good human relationships, I felt this was a place where I could work comfortably for a long time, which led me to join the company.

Has your impression of the company changed after actually working there?

My impression hasn’t changed much before and after joining. Everyone at the headquarters has been very kind, and I’m still working in the same warm and welcoming environment that I first experienced.

What values or mindset do you consider important in your work?

As a salesperson, I value building strong relationships with customers. I’m still learning every day, but by following the example of my senior colleagues, I always try to build trust with the people I work with.

Do you have a message for people who are interested in Tatsumiya Metal?

Even if you know nothing about metals, you can still take on the challenge as long as you have the motivation to try. We’d love for you to come and see our workplace for yourself.
