仕事の面白さ、やりがいは?

今の会社のことを知らないお客様と一から関係を築いて商売につなげられた時の喜び、そして規模の大きなお客様であればあるほど入り込めたときの楽しさが喜びに繋がっています。

辰己屋金属に入社された時のエピソードやきっかけは?

本社が関西にある企業に就職しようと思っていて、面接に来た時に社長が面白い方だなと思ったのと、阪神タイガースが好きで、会社から甲子園に行かせていただける機会もあるというのもきっかけの一つとなりました。

特に印象に残っているお仕事や達成感のエピソードは?

新しい商材を海外メーカーから仕入れてお客様に積極的にPRしており、テスト段階に繋がっていること自体に達成感があります。製品に正式採用されたら自社や自分がパイオニア的存在になれる可能性があるのも面白い点です。

今後挑戦していきたいこと、成長していきたい分野は?

新規商材分野で海外メーカーを既に一社引っ張ってきましたが、あと二社くらい連携を進めて、国内だけでなく海外商材も取り入れながら幅広く分野を拡大し、お客様に繋げていきたいです。

仕事の中で大切にしている価値観やモットーは?

多くの方に教えてもらうので感謝の心を忘れず、利益のために成果を出すこと。弊社とお客様がWin-Winに近づく形で取り組みたいです。

What is your current role?

I am in charge of the Tokyo sales office, mainly focusing on developing new customers and expanding business opportunities.

What do you find interesting and rewarding about your work?

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is building relationships from scratch with customers who initially know nothing about our company and successfully turning those relationships into business opportunities. The larger the customer, the more exciting and satisfying it becomes when we are able to establish a strong presence with them.

What led you to join Tatsumiya Metal? Do you have any memorable stories from when you joined?

I wanted to work for a company headquartered in the Kansai area, and when I came for the interview, I thought the president was a very interesting person. Another reason was that I’m a big fan of the Hanshin Tigers, and I heard there would even be opportunities to go to Koshien Stadium through the company, which also appealed to me.

What work or accomplishment has left the strongest impression on you?

We have been actively sourcing new products from overseas manufacturers and promoting them to our customers. The fact that we have already reached the testing stage with some of these products is something I find very rewarding. If one of the products is officially adopted, there is a possibility that both our company and I could become pioneers in that field, which makes the work especially exciting.

What would you like to challenge yourself with or grow in moving forward?

We have already partnered with one overseas manufacturer in the field of new products, and I would like to build relationships with two more companies. By incorporating not only domestic products but also overseas products, I hope to expand into a wider range of fields and create more opportunities for our customers.

What values or mindset do you consider important in your work?

Since I learn so much from many different people, I always try to remain grateful. At the same time, I believe it’s important to achieve results that contribute to profits. I want to work in a way that creates a win-win relationship for both our company and our customers.
