現在担当している役割は？
機械のオペレーターをしていて生産に関わることで機械を動かすためのメンテナンスを主に行っていて新規事業の立ち上げなども担当しています。
仕事の面白さ、やりがいは？
新規事業の立ち上げでやったことのない製品のレイアウトを考えて一番早い最善手段を探してくるというところが面白いです。
辰己屋金属に入社された時のエピソードやきっかけは？
会社を見に来た時に本当に正しい意味でアットホームな感じでした。
働いた後の印象で人間関係はどうです？
人間関係は個人的には気にしないのですが、良い所だと思います。
特に印象に残っているお仕事や達成感のエピソードは？
製品自体のことでお客様先から傷に対して細かな提案があり、どこに傷があるのかわからなく実際にお客様が持ってきていただき、こういう感じで作ったら理想だと教えてくれた時が“こう使われているのだな”と新たな学びになりました。
お仕事の中で特に意識していることは？
無駄使いがとても嫌いで、加工に必要なものを買う際もいらない物を買わないようコストを意識しています。

What is your current role?
I work as a machine operator, primarily performing maintenance to keep the machinery running, and I’m also involved in launching new business ventures.
What makes this job interesting and rewarding?
What I find interesting is coming up with layouts for products I’ve never worked on before when launching a new business and figuring out the fastest and best way to do it.
What led you to join Tatsumiya Metal, and do you have any stories about that time?
When I came to visit the company, it really felt like a close-knit, family-like environment.
Based on your experience after working there, how are the working relationships?
Personally, I don’t really care about workplace relationships, but I think it’s a good thing.
Are there any projects or achievements that stand out in your memory?
A customer provided detailed feedback regarding scratches on the product itself. Since I couldn’t tell exactly where the scratches were, the customer brought the item in person and explained that this would be the ideal design. That moment taught me something new—it really drove home how the product is actually being used.
What do you focus on most in your work?
I really hate wasting money, so even when buying supplies for my projects, I’m careful to keep costs in mind so I don’t end up buying things I don’t need.
